Smart Lawn: The New and Exciting Lawn Care Franchise

Smart Lawn is a lawn care company that is looking for dynamic franchise partners through its recent nationwide franchise roll out. The company has developed proprietary business systems with a unique approach to the landscaping industry.  The Smart Lawn brand seeks to be the leader in the green industry, by building long-term relationships with clients and providing environmentally sensible services.

The franchise was started in 2016 by brothers Chris and Matt Moon. The two brothers have had over 20 years of experience in the lawn care industry. Their previous company – Noon Turf Care – has been widely featured in the media in magazines such as Inc, Lawn and Landscape and Boston Business Journal.

The Innovative Smart Lawn Program

The Smart Lawn program was initially developed with an aim to raise the standards in the lawn and landscaping industry. The company’s mission is to provide environmentally sensible services through smarter delivery to achieve better results. This is achieved through:

  • Assessment and analysis of the lawn, including 2 soil tests each season
  • Accurately timed treatments based on scientific analysis and tests
  • The client is assigned a specialist to ensure the service delivery is consistent throughout the year
  • On-demand instant quotes for clients seeking lawn care services

Incredible Customer Service

One of the founders – Matt Noon started his first company in 1997 when he was still a senior in high school. The company wasn’t registered until he partnered with his brother in 2001 to form the Noon Turf Care company. It would go ahead to become a $2.5 million dollar company by 2008. By 2012 it was an $8 million company and was voted the best green company to work for by Lawn and Landscape magazine.

The two brothers attribute their success to maintaining the highest levels of customer service. They have learned to fine tune their processes and provide smart services which emphasize smarter communication and more efficient delivery.

The CEO Christopher Noon is a highly skilled salesman who has partnered with his brother Matt to build two successful lawn care companies. Smart Lawn has patented sales and marketing systems which were developed by Christopher Noon who understands the value of customer service from his 20-years experience running successful green companies.

Intensive Support and Training

Smart Lawn will provide training to partners. Franchisees have the option to take the 1 to 2 weeks training course either online or from the company’s premises in Massachusetts. This includes 3-4 days direct training from your business premises and two sessions every year which serves as refresher training.

You’ll get support on how to operate their patented sales and marketing systems. You can expect to get full support in operations, running marketing systems, accounting, and legal support. The company will provide information from time to time based on findings from the research and development department.

The franchise fee is $39,000 and the initial investment is between $71,000 and $127,000. There is the option of turning your Lawn care business and bringing it under the Smart Lawn franchise. The business is fairly new and there are many territories for franchisees to take advantage of. Smart Lawn partners can expect to get opportunities throughout the year.
