1-800-Plumber +Air is happy to announce the Grand Opening of their newest location, 1-800-Plumber +Air Pacific Northwest. Chris Nguyen and his team of elite, professionals will be servicing the Portland, Oregon area. They will be providing plumbing services, as well as, heating and cooling services beginning March 2, 2020.

Chris brings more than 20 years of business management experience to 1-800-Plumber. He began his career overseeing the maintenance operations of student and conventional multi-family developments in the Southeastern US, where he gained experience in residential and light commercial, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical trades. He also directed the leasing, marketing and management efforts of multiple low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC) and conventional communities.

In 2008, Chris became involved in retail property management when he joined DDR Corp., overseeing a diverse portfolio of assets, focusing on improving net operating income (NOI) through targeted revisions of the operations and marketing platforms of premier lifestyle and specialty centers in the Chicago and Miami/Fort Lauderdale markets. Additionally, Chris coordinated a $60MM redevelopment in the San Francisco Bay Area for Rouse Properties and was responsible for the marketing, leasing and operations of a 1.2MM SF enclosed regional mall.

Chris most recently held the position of Director of Operations for a real-estate development firm in Portland Oregon, where he oversaw the operations, maintenance, management, marketing and sales performance of a 27-member team.

Chris graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida and has received extensive leadership and management training through his affiliation with Vistage Key Executives Group.
Throughout his career, Chris has built value through creative ancillary leasing, by improving operational efficiencies, reducing liability and establishing partnerships with local municipalities.

An ardent supporter of community giving, Chris has developed relationships beneficial to numerous charities, including Second Harvest Food Bank, the Newark League of Volunteers, Young at Heart Senior Pet and Purrfect Cat Rescue, The United Way of the Central Carolinas and the Becca’s Closet Prom Dress Drive. Chris also served on the Executive Board of Directors for the Plantation, FL and Newark, CA Chambers of Commerce and is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and the International Council of Shopping Centers, where he holds a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation.
