Mary Shealy’s Bark Life is located in St. Petersburg, FL and sells over 30 brands of foods and treats from brands such as Acana, Orijen, Wellness, Merrick, Stella & Chewy’s, Primal, Answers, and many more. The business also offers shampoos and other selected items for both cats and dogs.  Above all, Bark Life St. Pete offers customer service and value that are literally unmatched in the pet services market.

Mary Shealy is a mom to a 17-year-old son, Cameron and two Portuguese Water Dogs, Daisy and Bo. As a parent and big animal lover, she understands pets are part of the family and deserve the highest level of care. Mary has been a customer of Bark Life, Seminole for about 3 years and when she saw an opportunity to join the Bark Life Market & More family she jumped at it! Purchasing the franchise gave her a chance to apply her expertise in a niche that she has always been passionate about.  She has more than 12 years’ experience working in the hospitality industry having worked for both casual restaurants as well as high-end country clubs. Through this business, she is able to apply her skills and experience when working with customers and their pets.

Bark Life Market & More relies on great, educated customer service and Mary believes her experience gives her an edge in the business. Bark Life’s unique concept in that it’s not a “boutique” but caters to all dogs and their people is exactly why Mary started shopping there in the first place. Bark Life caterers to everything from a 1lb dog to a 200lb pup. Bark Life’s grooming kept her coming back time & time again. The idea was to introduce cage-free grooming, where the pet owners can get the pet groomed as they arrive and be ready for pick up in about an hour or so. The result is a system that requires little time which is both beneficial for the pet and its owner.

Bark Life Market & More has educated front staff that is highly trained in pet nutrition as well as being pet parents themselves. The groomers are 2^nd to none and carry on the 30+ years of excellence in the grooming industry, where it all started. Mary Shealy is responsible for managing her staff so that clients can get the level of service they expect from Bark Life Market & More. Her experience working in the hospitality industry gave her the expertise needed to develop the people skills she needs to run her location in St. Petersburg.
