The Stuffed Baked Potato Factory Expands Reach Through New Franchise Opening
New restaurant concept continues expansion through newest franchise in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
Ridgeland, MISSISSIPPI (October 2019)— The Stuffed Baked Potato Factory, a unique restaurant concept, is slated to open its newest franchise location in Ridgeland, Mississippi late October.
The Stuffed Baked Potato Factory will have its grand opening on October 25th at 11am at Northpark Mall. Ridgeland resident Michael Joyner will be the owner of the newest store. Joyner comes from deep franchise roots. The Joyner family has owned 27 McDonald’s stores within the Jackson, Mississippi area over the years. After selling the McDonald’s locations, Joyner sought a new venture. “I wanted to get into the stuffed baked potato business,” stated Joyner. The Stuffed Baked Potato Factory was the perfect fit.
The Stuffed Baked Potato Factory was first started in 2011 by potato connoisseur Michael Moore. Using social media platform Facebook, Moore began posting pictures of his unique creations, and the business quickly sprouted. The pictures led to a spudding fan following through which orders poured in. “I had originally planned to open a BBQ restaurant, but after the overwhelming response I received on Facebook for my potatoes, I decided to open The Stuffed Baked Potato Factory instead,” Moore recalls.
By 2015 the first official Stuffed Baked Potato Factory was launched with a full management team, including business expert Hai Bui. “We felt we had found a solid niche market,” stated Moore. After four years in business, The Stuffed Potato Factory has flourished. The menu features a full span of spuds, each having its own unique name. The Confused, The Swamp Monster, and Mr. Porky are all fan favorites. All locations of the company feature an app for ordering, including the new one at Northpark Mall.
