The work that FMS does focuses on providing initially strategic, operational and marketing support, then transitions to marketing and operational support. The structure of the relationship together creates a strategic partnership and one where FMS works with brands over a longer time period.
Franchise Marketing Systems works closely with clients beyond the launch the inception of the franchise model, but creates an ongoing relationship where the consultants work alongside the franchisor to manage both sales and operations of the new franchise system. When Chris Conner founded Franchise Marketing Systems in 2009, he had been in the franchise industry for 8 years and worked with a wide range of brands to help them franchise their models. What Mr. Conner felt was missing was the necessary support and resources needed to bring these new systems to market and help in recruiting the first 5-10 units. Once this initial group of franchisees was in place, the franchise brand had some degree of validation and proof of concept and could begin to get a foothold in the franchise market.

The business plan and pro-forma that they created was incredible, and gave us the confidence in our system both for the Franchisees and us, as the Franchisor.
