First Crisp Cuts Franchise Location Set to Open in Summer 2021
The upscale barbershop franchise launched in 2020 and has now sold its first unit
Mission, KS (July 22, 2021)– Crisp Cuts, a Kansas City based barbershop, has just announced its first franchise sold.
The franchise is owned by Percy Starr in Mission, Kansas and will be located in the Arterra Luxury Lofts in the Crossroads Art District. “We’re thrilled to get our first franchise sold and operating,” stated Bobby Terry, Owner and Founder of Crisp Cuts. “We believe that we truly do barbershop operations done right. We’re excited to share our model with other dedicated business owners who will then take our superior services to other areas.”
Crisp Cuts currently operates two corporate locations, one in Shawnee, Kansas and the second located in Independence, Missouri.
Crisp Cuts’ approach focuses on marketing and community connection. According to Terry, this is done through social media engagement and the relationships formed with each client. “Our concept is set apart because we understand the key to success in a service-based business is relational connection,” says Terry. “We coach our franchise partners on the most effective techniques and strategies to keep our clients feeling valued and to keep our brand top of mind.”
The brand will also be adding in the launch of their hair care line Styles Fine Hair Care. “This is a bonus for our franchisees as it will generate additional cash flow in a huge way,” asserted Terry. “We’re leveraging e-commerce abilities for our franchisees too.” Terry added that through this launch, they’ve partnered with a top-notch branding agency to assist in manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, and branding, further benefiting the franchise relationship.
The upscale, urban-based brand opened its first location 14 years ago. Due to the continued growth and outpouring of community support, Terry opted for franchising to expand. “We knew that developing this into a franchise model was the right move,” asserted Terry. “Now that we have Mr. Starr on board, we have even more confidence in our support model moving forward.
