Multi-Awarded Pub Daddy O’Brien Looking for Franchise Partners

Gwinnett-based Daddy O’Brien Irish Ice Cream Pub and Eatery, the multi-awarded pioneer of the alcohol-infused scoop, is looking to partners with the entrepreneurial spirit to share their vision of bringing good food and experience across the country.

The businessman couple Frank and Lori O’Brien, high school sweethearts who made an imprint on the Atlanta with their events company, ventured into the pub business in January of 2017. That’s when the doors of the Daddy O’s first opened to customers.

However, the business is more than just a place to chill, drink and eat. It also serves as the laboratory for the couple’s vision to open up more outlets all across the USA. This is where the franchisee will come in.

What About the Franchise System?

The difference between the two Daddy O’s Irish pubs will be apparent in the square footage, utilities, furniture and fixtures, leasehold improvements, inventory, signage and computer systems. Both choices will come with the same franchise fee of $30,000.

With the investment, the franchisee will get access to the award-winning food items and beer served by the pub. Its Butter Beer won the 2016 Flavor of the Year, while its Baileys Irish Pistachio was the 3rd Place Winner in 2015. Their own version of the Kentucky Salted Caramel was the 2014 NICRA Iron Scoop Champion.

Awards and More Proofs That Daddy O’Brien Pub is One of the Best in Town

In 2017, the Daddy O’Brien Irish Ice Cream Pub and Eatery were voted Best of Gwinnett 2017 by Gwinnett Magazine.

The franchise partner will also get their winning line of Irish beers and craft beers as well as alcohol-flavored ice cream. There’s the famous Kentucky Salted Caramel with Maker’s Mark Bourbon, Blueberry Wine Sorbet, Baileys with Toasted Marshmallows and a cold treat known by locals as “The Dude.”

One of the advantages of being a franchise owner is everything is homemade so the franchise owners are confident that they are serving unique menus and drinks. There’s nothing like it in the whole country.

Daddy O’Brien will provide the training, technical support, marketing and promotions, accounting support, audit and legal support. The main reason why the couple built the franchising program is so they can focus on research and development to further improve the menu and the pub’s line of drinks.

Of course, any new food invention or ice cream concoction will be streamed down to each of the franchise locations. In that way, the franchisee will always serve a fresh menu while continuing to focus on the business side of the operations.

Both Frank and Lori O’Brien will personally screen franchise applicants because, in effect, they will become ambassadors of the brand. Apart from strong management abilities and the love for the concept, potential partners should also share the couple’s vision of serving good food and excellent service with complete integrity.

Daddy O’Brien’s main office is located in Sugar Meadow Drive, in Sugar Hill, Gwinnett County, GA. If you are lost, just ask around and residents will tell you where the six-foot leprechaun lives. Contact Lori O’Brien at #404-513-1118 or email [email protected] for more information
